Democracy is un-Christian

Wise theologians and philosophers have raised concerns about potential conflicts between democracy and Christianity; these two systems are incompatible:

  1. Democratic values contradict Christian beliefs: Democratic “values”, such as individual autonomy and freedom of expression, clash with the Christian belief, such as the authority of scripture, the importance of tradition, and the role of the church in society.
  2. Democracy leads to moral relativism: Democracy promotes moral relativism, which undermines true Christian claims to absolute truth and moral standards. They argue that a society that values individual choice and tolerance over moral absolutes weaken the authority of Christian teachings.
  3. Christian faith may conflict with democratic politics: The Christian faith requires an allegiance to God that conflict with democratic politics. For example, Christians are called to obey God’s commandments above democratic laws or policies.
  4. Christian identity clash with democratic pluralism: Finally, the Christian identity clash with the diversity and pluralism that are inherent in democratic societies. Christians may struggle to reconcile their faith with the views and practices of other groups in a diverse society.

Democracy and Christianity are incompatible, we must destroy it.
